Hi, I’m Sophia — founder of So Sattva Wellness, wife, retired Army soldier, mother, and lifelong advocate for gentle, organic skincare. My journey began over 11 years ago out of love and necessity. With sensitive skin myself and a son struggling with eczema, I couldn’t find store-bought products that were truly gentle, clean, and effective. That’s when I started making my own- beginning with simple melt-and-pour soaps and experimenting with organic, skin-safe ingredients I could trust.
What started as a personal mission quickly became a passion. I gave my handmade creations to friends and family, always crafting with love and care, never compromising on quality. Over the years, I continued to refine my skills, research ingredients, and explore new methods — eventually transitioning into Cold Process Soap Making, allowing me to handcraft every bar in small, intentional batches.
For more than a decade, I made these products purely out of love. But now, with encouragement and deep belief in what I’ve created, I’m proud to share them with the world through So Sattva Wellness. Every soap, body butter, and oil is made with the same purpose that inspired me from the beginning: to nourish and protect sensitive skin using only the finest organic ingredients - with no shortcuts, ever.
As a retired soldier with over 20 years of service, I carry the values of discipline, integrity, and dedication into everything I do. So Sattva Wellness is more than a business -it’s a sanctuary for healing, a commitment to quality, and a space where self-care is sacred. Thank you for supporting this journey. That’s why we start with ingredients you can trust — certified organic and naturally sourced oils, butters, botanicals, and essential oils carefully chosen for their nourishing and healing properties.
Our signature soaps are crafted using the Cold Process Method — a time-honored technique that allows natural ingredients to retain their beneficial properties. This process can’t be rushed. Each batch is mixed, poured, and cured slowly over 4 to 6 weeks. The result? A gentle, rich- lathering soap that respects your skin and restores balance naturally.
We understand that sometimes customers prefer a quicker option — which is why we also offer high-quality Organic Melt and Pour Soaps. These are made with the same commitment to quality, incorporating organic botanicals and plant-based additives to ensure your skin receives the care it deserves.
